Did the passenger increase (which METRO cannot prove) offset the cost? Or did the celebs do this as some courtesy? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And what about the drivers stranded on the side of the road almost daily because mechanics aren't getting the re$ources to properly maintain those buses.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I saw 2 Vikings stopped along 45 last Friday. One was headed SB in the Gulf/NASA area around 2p. The other was SB coming from Fallbrook around 4p&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Could you get a good ride out of a fixed route bus vs a P&amp;amp;R if you put the P&amp;amp;R seats in, and better struts.shocks, et. al?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Then out could have one or two fewer platforms to worry about at the BOF's.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It was done in the past. &amp;nbsp;4400 P&amp;amp;R, 4500 local.&lt;/p&gt;
