A bus came by with absolutely no signs on it. I thought that it was out of service but the driver stopped and shouted that it was a no. 53. I rode it it for quite a way and the female driver made every stop and yelled out "53". Doesn't someone at Metro think that it is a little assinine to tout all these Metro miracles and not even have destination signs on the busses operating? This is an everyday occurance. Whoever is in charge of this should be fired immediately.

P&R). One of the Fallbrook ops has paprer signs on the windows of the doors:

"N. Shepherd Only"

(inside the cirle with the diagional bar) Seton Lake

[Translation: No Seton Lake]

(inside the circle with the diagonal bar) FM 1960

[Translation: No FM 1960]

This route needs to be3 divited into 3 routes:

101: N. Shep. ONLY

108: N. Shep. to 1960

109: N, Shep. Seton Lake

Then again, somebody might ask if the 108 goes to Jackrabbit Road. In fact it is true, in a sense. From 290 to K'dahl, 1960 and FM 1960 were the same road. As that area grew up, the 'rabbit term fell out of favor. West of 290, SH 6 and Jackrabbit use different ROW's a a small part of the 'rabbbit remains.

Metro only has 1 (count 'em one) person at each facility that can work on RADIOS and DESTINATION SIGNS.

If that isn't the most idiotic thing ever I do not know what is...

At Fallbrook this week our radio/Dest. sign guy is on vacation...

So guess what?

We're boned if anything doesn't work.

Incredible forethought Administration!

What we need is 1 guy fueling buses and the other 20 washing and sweeping.

A clean bus would be an improvement!

Whether or not you ride the 40 often, ever heard of waiting until the sign goes back to displaying the route name/number? Perhaps you could of asked the B/O what 40 route this is BEFORE boarding?
