METRORail Rider Alert Tonight
Friday, June 28, 2013 12:02 PM

If you're planning on dining downtown or catching a show at the theater, be aware that our normal train service will be interrupted tonight, starting at 7:45 p.m.

All rail stations will be closed until Monday, July 1, at 4:30 a.m.

The shut-down is due to construction activities for METRORail expansion and rail maintenance at various locations.

We'll have dedicated "700 Rail Shuttle" buses running every 10 minutes during regular rail service hours. Click here for shuttle locations. We'll also have staff along the rail to help you.

Please remember that bus service requires more travel time, so plan accordingly. And thanks very much for bearing with us as we work hard to expand rail. The Red Line (expanded North Line) is scheduled to open in six months.
