You Can Download Maps Now
Wednesday, October 10, 2007 5:41 PM

Now you can download our bus route maps on your iPod. We blogged about this several weeks ago - now it's ready to go.

You simply transfer the map into your photo library the way you would any other photo, using Apple iTunes.

If you're on the go and wondering where the next bus stop is, you can view a bus route map by scrolling to "Photos," then "Photo Library."

Go to the home page on our Web site for more details.

Cool,

Now where do I get my "free" IPOD so I can use this?

Hint,hint!

Maybe I'm just being really dense, but the directions are nearly incomprehensible (why is the system map named after one bus route? Why is the link buried in the middle of the page, and why does it loop like just another bus route map?) and the result is a lot of almost impossible to navigate snapshots of bits of maps.

I think it's great to find new ways to get information in people's hands, but unless I'm just being dense, this is pretty confusing.

Oh, I get it - the directions are sample directions for an individual map.

Seriously, you need to get someone who knows how to write clear instructions to have a look at that page on the site - it's a train wreck, if you'll pardon the expression.
