Like the Maytag Repair Guy....Seattle's Maintenance Crew Has Little to Fix on its Hybrid Buses

Seattle has the nation's largest fleet of hybrid buses powered by GM Allison with 232 buses on its roads. It's the same system METRO is using.

It's produced by GM Allison so, of course, there's nothing negative. Still, it's interesting to hear the Seattle transit guys talk about how the motor oil looks like virgin oil and how there's no noticeable wear on the drive unit after hundreds of miles.
